The barrel ageing is much more pronounced after the underwater maturation in the form of vanilla and roasted coffee. On the palate, we perceive an abundance of ripe lack and red fruits, almost compotes. A perfectly integrated acidity, which results in a very well-structured, full-bodied wine on the palate. In summary, fruity, powerful and mature without losing the freshness of a young wine. Microvinification of less than 3500 bottles per year.
The Sea Wine Club W02 represents an extraordinary expression of Rioja Alavesa's prestigious terroir, crafted by Bodega Submarina Del Mediterráneo. This full-bodied red wine is built on the foundation of Tempranillo, Spain's most noble red grape variety, which thrives in the region's unique microclimate and mineral-rich soils. The winemaking philosophy emphasizes pronounced intensity and complexity, delivering distinctive black fruit and cooked fruit characteristics alongside elegant notes of liquorice and vanilla.
Rioja Alavesa, the western subregion of Rioja, is renowned for producing wines of exceptional balance and depth. The underwater maturation process employed by this producer imparts a distinctive character that sets this wine apart. The result is a sophisticated red wine that pairs beautifully with soups and stews, poultry, and grilled meats, making it an ideal selection for discerning palates seeking premium Spanish wines for fine dining experiences, private cellars, and luxury hospitality settings.
