The Irancy vineyard is located in an amphitheater which protects it from the north winds and offers it a south/southwest exposure. Irancy Simonnet-Febvre is vinified with the traditional Pinot noir grape variety blended with 5% César, the oldest grape variety grown in France which is now only found in Irancy. Irancy is adorned with a beautiful purple colour, scented with red fruits and evolving on the palate towards candied fruits, its melted tannins make the whole harmonious. The blend with the César grape makes it possible to produce very colourful, full-bodied wines that will keep well.
