Enquire about availabilityThe four wines resulting from the collaboration between Dolce & Gabbana and Donnafugata show attention to detail and unconditional love for Sicily. They are the perfect expression of two top companies "Made in Italy". They represent the aesthetic fusion of craftsmanship, creativity and Sicilian passion. Together, they have created a unique collection of wines and packaging that emotionally capture Sicilian culture and lifestyle and express a clear commitment to the beauty and tradition of Sicily. Straw yellow in colour with golden reflections. Refined aromas of citrus fruit and lemon zest, rounded off by fruity hints of yellow apple and Mediterranean herbs. Very soft on the palate with a fascinating elegance, a fine volcanic minerality becomes apparent as the wine progresses. Great ageing potential!
Donnafugata's Isolano represents a distinctive expression of Sicily's volcanic terroir, crafted from the indigenous Carricante grape grown on the slopes of Mount Etna. This white wine showcases the mineral-driven character that defines Etna DOC wines, with elegant citrus and tropical fruit notes balanced by herbaceous complexity. The Carricante variety thrives in Etna's challenging volcanic soils, producing refined, age-worthy whites with remarkable freshness and structure.
At 12% ABV, this is a remarkably versatile wine for fine dining and sophisticated entertaining. Its mineral backbone and rounded profile make it an exceptional pairing with shellfish, crab, and lobster, while the wine's citrus-forward character complements lighter fish preparations and sushi. It also bridges beautifully to poultry dishes, creamy goat cheese, and even truffle-based cuisine, making it an essential addition to any well-curated cellar.
