The four wines resulting from the collaboration between Dolce & Gabbana and Donnafugata show attention to detail and unconditional love for Sicily. They are the perfect expression of two top companies "Made in Italy". They represent the aesthetic fusion of craftsmanship, creativity and Sicilian passion. Together, they have created a unique collection of wines and packaging that emotionally capture Sicilian culture and lifestyle and express a clear commitment to the beauty and tradition of Sicily. Straw yellow in colour with golden reflections. Refined aromas of citrus fruit and lemon zest, rounded off by fruity hints of yellow apple and Mediterranean herbs. Very soft on the palate with a fascinating elegance, a fine volcanic minerality becomes apparent as the wine progresses. Great ageing potential!

Donnafugata is a renowned wine producer located in Sicily, Italy. The winery has a rich history that dates back to the early 1980s when it was founded by the Rallo family. The family has been involved in the wine industry for over 150 years, and their passion for winemaking is evident in the quality of their wines.

Donnafugata is known for producing some of the finest wines in Sicily, and their focus is on producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. The winery is located in the heart of the Marsala wine region, which is known for its warm climate and fertile soil. The winery has vineyards in several other regions of Sicily as well, including Contessa Entellina and Pantelleria.

The winery produces a wide range of wines, including red, white, and dessert wines. Their flagship wine is the Ben Rye Passito di Pantelleria, which is a sweet wine made from Zibibbo grapes. This wine has won numerous awards and is considered one of the best dessert wines in the world.

Donnafugata is also known for their red wines, which are made from indigenous grape varieties such as Nero d'Avola and Perricone. These wines are full-bodied and rich, with flavors of dark fruit and spice. The winery also produces a range of white wines, including the Anthilia, which is a blend of Catarratto and Ansonica grapes. This wine is crisp and refreshing, with notes of citrus and tropical fruit.

The winery uses traditional winemaking techniques, including hand-harvesting and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. They also use oak barrels for aging some of their wines, which adds complexity and depth to the final product.

Donnafugata is committed to sustainable winemaking practices, and they have implemented several initiatives to reduce their environmental impact. They use solar panels to generate electricity, and they have implemented a water recycling system to reduce their water usage.

Overall, Donnafugata is a world-class winery that produces some of the finest wines in Sicily. Their focus on quality and sustainability has earned them a reputation as one of the top wine producers in Italy.
