The Gevrey-Chambertin Village is performing nicely from bottle, delivering a generous bouquet of wild plums, cherries, smoked meats and forest floor. Medium to full-bodied, muscular and nicely concentrated, with tangy acids and chalky structuring tannins, it's already rounder and more charming than it was from bottle, but it will benefit from a little bottle age.
