Tasting notes
This Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes unwinds in the glass with aromas of red berries, cherries, loamy soil and spices. Medium to full-bodied, textural and seamless, it's concentrated and vibrant, with ripe tannins and a long, expansive finish. This is a real success.

Key characteristics
About this wine
Domaine Faiveley is one of Burgundy's larger négociant-grower houses, with holdings across the Côte de Nuits. This Vieilles Vignes bottling comes from old-vine parcels within the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation, a village long associated with structured, savoury Pinot Noir grown on the Côte de Nuits' limestone and marl slopes.
Expect a firm, sinewy style: dark cherry and redcurrant fruit, notes of game and forest floor, with the grip and tannic backbone typical of Gevrey. Serve at cellar temperature alongside braised beef, duck, or a well-aged hard cheese board.
