About this wine
Henri Jayer's Cros Parantoux is among the most celebrated parcels in all of Burgundy, a premier cru site in Vosne-Romanée that Jayer himself reclaimed from Jerusalem artichoke scrubland and transformed into a reference point for the appellation. The domaine is now managed by his nephew Emmanuel Rouget, farming biodynamically.
Expect the hallmarks of great Vosne-Romanée: silky tannins, red fruit precision, and a mineral depth that lingers. Serve with roasted squab, duck breast, or aged hard cheeses, wines of this weight and complexity need equally considered food on board.
