A compelling oxidative expression with layers of toasted hazelnut, beeswax, and dried apple alongside hints of curry, turmeric, and aged citrus peel. The palate is rich yet precise, with a saline, mineral-driven backbone that keeps the wine focused. Textured and full-bodied, it delivers a long, nutty finish with lingering notes of chamomile and brioche, characteristic of the traditional voile-aged Jura style.

About this wine
Cuvée du Hasard is Domaine Labet's Chardonnay de Voile, a Côtes du Jura white matured under flor in the region's traditional sous voile method, bottled at 13% ABV. It stands apart from the estate's ouillé, topped-up cuvées, taking on the oxidative character that method produces.
Expect walnut, dried apple, curry spice and a tangy, saline finish in place of primary fruit. Serve slightly warmer than a standard white, alongside Comté or other aged hard cheeses, mushroom dishes or roast poultry, classic Jura pairings for a wine built to handle them.
