2021 - Crystallum - Cuvée Cinema - Pinot Noir

Crystallum is one of Walker Bay's most respected small producers, working with Pinot Noir in a cool-climate corner of the South African Cape where Atlantic influence keeps ripening slow and acidity intact. Cuvée Cinema is their entry-level Pinot, though that label undersells it considerably.

Expect a pale, translucent red with red cherry, dried rose petal and a faintly earthy, forest-floor character, Walker Bay Pinot at its most Burgundian in spirit. Light-bodied and fresh with fine tannins, it suits salmon, duck breast or mushroom-based dishes with equal ease.
