About this wine
Boškinac is a small estate on the island of Pag, in the Dalmatia region of Croatia, producing wines from indigenous and Mediterranean varieties grown in a stark, bora-swept landscape of limestone and sparse scrub. Cuvée Crni is their flagship red blend, shaped by that uncompromising terroir.
Dalmatian reds from this part of the coast tend toward deep colour, firm tannin, and a savoury backbone, think dark fruit, dried herb, and a mineral undercurrent from the karst soils. Serve alongside lamb, aged sheep's cheese (Pag is renowned for its paški sir), or robust meat dishes.
