About this armagnac
Baron de Sigognac is a long-established Bas-Armagnac producer working in the Landes, the heartland of France's oldest brandy appellation. Bas-Armagnac is prized above the other crus for its lighter, sandier soils, which yield spirits of particular finesse and aromatic complexity.
Expect the characteristic Bas-Armagnac profile: dried fruit, prune, vanilla, and a gentle rancio quality, with a warmth that is generous rather than harsh at 40% ABV. Serve neat after dinner as a digestif, or alongside dark chocolate, aged cheese, or a cigar for guests who appreciate serious French spirits.
