The Marula Silk
Ingredients
- 45 ml Amarula Vegan Marula Liqueur
- 30 ml cognac
- 20 ml cold brew coffee
- 15 ml fresh lemon juice
- 10 ml vanilla syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 egg white
- Ice
Method
- Add the egg white to a cocktail shaker without ice and dry shake vigorously for 10 seconds until foamy.
- Add all remaining ingredients to the shaker with fresh ice.
- Shake firmly for 15 seconds until well-chilled and the mixture becomes creamy.
- Double strain through a fine mesh strainer into the prepared glass.
- Allow the foam to settle for 30 seconds before serving.
Serve
Serve in a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a thin strip of lemon peel expressed over the drink's surface and placed on the foam. Top the foam with three coffee beans arranged in a triangle pattern. Present with the foam layer clearly visible and intact.
