Gekonfijte pompelmoesschil, gezouten karamel en kweepeerconserven in de neus van Zind-Humbrecht's 2008 Gewurztraminer Hengst Selection de Grains Nobles vormen de basis voor een romig verhemelte vol gezouten karamel, marmelade en kweepeergelei. Met 11,9% alcohol geeft deze wijn blijk van een wervelend gevoel van elegantie, met etherische, hoogtonige suggesties van pitfruitessences en een griezelige stroom van verse citrusvruchten die uitmondt in een lange, honingzoete, opwekkende afdronk.
