Notes de dégustation
Pale gold with green glints, this Meursault opens with aromas of lemon zest, white peach, crushed hazelnut and a touch of flint. The palate is textured yet focused, with ripe orchard fruit, subtle toasty oak and a creamy, buttery note balanced by vibrant acidity. Chalky minerality runs through the mid-palate, lending tension and precision. The finish is long and savory, with lingering notes of almond, citrus oil and a gentle saline edge.

À propos : Vin
Domaine Chavy-Chouet - Meursault - Les Casse-Têtes
Domaine Chavy-Chouet makes Les Casse-Têtes in Meursault, Burgundy. It is a white wine from Chardonnay, at 13% alcohol, and it sits squarely in the rich, savoury style the appellation is known for.
In the glass it is pale gold with green glints. The nose offers lemon zest, white peach and crushed hazelnut, with a thread of flint. The palate is textured but focused: ripe orchard fruit, a little toasty oak and a creamy, buttery note held in check by bright acidity. Chalky minerality gives the mid-palate tension. The finish is long and savoury, with almond, citrus oil and a faint saline edge.
Chardonnay is the grape, and Meursault is where it tends to show its most generous side: roundness and weight on the palate, with a stony backbone that keeps it from heaviness. That balance of richness and precision is what this bottling delivers.
Serve lightly chilled, so the hazelnut and flint come through. It suits shellfish, oily fish and pasta dishes, and it handles Brie and charcuterie equally well. It works across the menu.
