Olbia is where Sardinia actually works. The airport is the crew-change point for the whole Costa Smeralda, the ferries from Civitavecchia and Livorno land here, and the yards and technical services that keep the northern fleet running are in and around the gulf rather than up in Porto Cervo. A great many yachts that spend the season on the Smeralda do their storing, their crew rotations and their maintenance stops in Olbia.

We deliver to Marina di Olbia on Molo Brin and to Marina di Portisco further up the coast toward Porto Rotondo. Both are straightforward for a pallet, which matters: Olbia is where we would rather land a full season stock than try to thread one through Porto Cervo in the second week of August. Orders travel from our French cellar on EU logistics, no customs frontier, duties and paperwork handled, typically three to four working days from confirmation.

The practical case for storing here is timing. A yacht arriving into the Smeralda for a July charter can take delivery in Olbia on the way in, with the crossing and the road transfer already absorbed, rather than waiting on a delivery into the busiest marina in the Mediterranean during its busiest fortnight. We plan those deliveries around the arrival date rather than the order date, and we will say plainly when a date is too tight.

Our list runs to over 1,500 wines, Champagnes and spirits, each with a downloadable tasting note and an open price online. For a yacht basing in Gallura for a season we will build the whole cellar, guest wines, crew wines, the back-bar, the owner’s allocations, and hold the records so it survives a crew change.
