Vina Elena Familia's Pacheco Organic is a Monastrell-Syrah blend from Jumilla, the sun-baked DO in Murcia where old bush vines push deep into limestone and clay soils. Organically produced, it draws on two varieties well-suited to the region's extreme heat and dry conditions.

Expect the character Jumilla does best: dark fruit, blackberry, plum, dried fig, with earthy depth, firm tannins and a warm, full-bodied finish. A natural match for grilled lamb, beef stews, aged hard cheeses, or anything coming off the barbecue.
