A decadent nose features a powerful, chocolaty meatiness, but blood orange and plum skin delineate firm boundaries. The sanguine, citrusy, slightly astringent fruit continues on the palate, at least until tannins, acid and heat come barreling in. Unapologetic and delicious.

San Salvatore is a renowned wine producer located in the Campania region of Italy. The winery has a rich history dating back to the 19th century when it was founded by the Rillo family. Today, San Salvatore is known for producing some of the finest wines in the region, including red, white, and rosé wines.

The winery is situated in the heart of the Cilento National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The vineyards are located on the slopes of the Alburni Mountains, which provide the perfect conditions for growing grapes. The winery is committed to sustainable agriculture and uses only organic methods to cultivate their grapes.

San Salvatore produces a range of wines, including the popular Aglianico and Fiano di Avellino. The Aglianico is a full-bodied red wine that is known for its rich, complex flavors. It is made from the Aglianico grape, which is native to the Campania region. The Fiano di Avellino is a white wine that is made from the Fiano grape. It is known for its crisp, refreshing taste and is often paired with seafood dishes.

In addition to their red and white wines, San Salvatore also produces a rosé wine called Rosato. This wine is made from a blend of Aglianico and Fiano grapes and has a delicate, fruity flavor.

San Salvatore is committed to producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Campania region. Their wines are a testament to the rich history and culture of the area and are a must-try for any wine enthusiast.

Campania is a region in southern Italy that is known for producing some of the country's most unique and flavorful wines. The region has a long history of winemaking, dating back to ancient times when the Greeks first introduced grape cultivation to the area.

The style of production in Campania is heavily influenced by the region's volcanic soil, which is rich in minerals and nutrients that give the wines a distinct character. The most famous grape varieties grown in Campania are Aglianico, Fiano, and Greco, which are used to produce a range of red, white, and sparkling wines.

Aglianico is the most widely planted grape in Campania and is used to produce full-bodied red wines with intense flavors of dark fruit, spice, and earth. Fiano and Greco are both white grape varieties that produce crisp, refreshing wines with notes of citrus, apple, and mineral.

Overall, Campania is a region that is known for producing wines with a strong sense of place and a unique character that reflects the region's history and terroir. Whether you are looking for a bold red wine or a crisp white, Campania has something to offer for every wine lover.
