Tasting notes

Aromas of white flowers, freshly baked bread, citrus oil and oyster shell introduce the 2014 Brut Blanc de Blancs, a medium-bodied, taut and acid-driven wine that's tightly wound and bracingly vibrant, complemented by a youthfully frothy mousse and concluding with a chalky finish. At least to my palate, this is a touch austere right now, but I wouldn't bet against it rounding out with time.

About this sparkling wine

Ridgeview Blanc de Blancs is a sparkling wine that is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. It is a dry, crisp and refreshing wine with a delicate aroma of green apple, lemon and brioche. The wine has a pale gold colour with a fine and persistent mousse.

This wine is perfect for any occasion, whether it's a celebration or a casual get-together. It pairs well with seafood, poultry and light salads. The wine is best served chilled and can be enjoyed in a flute or a white wine glass.
