About this sparkling wine

Philipponnat Royale Réserve Brut is a distinguished Champagne that exemplifies the house's commitment to balance and elegance. Crafted from a carefully selected blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, this sparkling wine delivers the structure and complexity that Champagne is renowned for. The traditional méthode Champenoise and judicious aging create a wine with refined bubbles, bright character, and a long, satisfying finish.

Based in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ in the heart of Champagne, Philipponnat has established itself as a producer of consistently excellent vintage and non-vintage cuvées. The house's philosophy centers on selecting fruit from prime vineyard sites and allowing extended aging to develop depth and sophistication. Royale Réserve reflects this approach, offering complexity without excess.

This elegant Champagne pairs beautifully with shellfish, lobster, and crab, making it ideal for refined appetizers and first courses. Its bright acidity and balanced palate also complement sushi, sashimi, Asian cuisine, and delicate poultry preparations. At 12% ABV, it's equally suited to leisurely aperitifs or pairing with Comté cheese and fruit-based desserts at the end of a meal.
