About this liqueur

Rinquinquin à la Pêche is a traditional Provençal apéritif liqueur from Distilleries de Provence, made using ripe peaches and peach leaves macerated to give a delicately fruited, low-strength drink typical of the region's country apéritif culture.

Pale gold, softly sweet and unmistakably peachy, it is built for sipping over ice before dinner rather than for the cellar. Pour it long with sparkling water or dry white wine on deck, or use it as the base for a simple summer cocktail.

The Rinquinquin Reverie

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Rinquinquin à La Peche
  • 30 ml Grey Goose vodka
  • 20 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15 ml Elderflower cordial
  • 10 ml Chambord
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Ice for shaking

Method

  1. Add all ingredients except bitters to a cocktail shaker
  2. Dry shake vigorously for 10 seconds to emulsify the egg white
  3. Add ice and shake for another 15 seconds until well-chilled
  4. Double strain into the prepared glass
  5. Top with two dashes of Angostura bitters in a decorative pattern

Serve

Coupe glass chilled with crushed ice, garnished with a thin peach wheel placed on the rim and a single candied violet positioned in the center of the foam head
