Tasting notes

Deeply expressive with vibrant aromas of fresh red cherry, wild strawberry, and crushed violet, layered with subtle notes of forest floor, warm spice, and a whisper of cedar. On the palate, silky and refined with bright acidity and fine-grained tannins framing flavors of pomegranate, raspberry compote, and dried rose petal. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering minerality and a touch of toasted oak.

About this wine

Aubert Wines sources this Pinot Noir from the UV-SL Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast, a cool-climate stretch of California prized for ripening Pinot Noir slowly under maritime influence. The wine is made entirely from this single site, reflecting Aubert's vineyard-designate approach to the variety.

Expect a generous, fruit-forward style with the depth and polish characteristic of top Sonoma Coast Pinot. It suits the table well, pairing with duck, chicken, pork or mushroom dishes. Serve at 14-16°C to let its layered fruit and savoury undertones unfold over the course of a meal.
