Proefnotities

The 2014 Le Tertre Roteboeuf, now in bottle, has a very refined and pure bouquet, with red cherries, wild strawberry and a touch of orange blossom, all very Burgundy-like in style. The palate is very well balanced, with crisp tannin, hints of fig and date infusions that complement the red berry fruit, and a touch of white pepper toward the long finish. This is turning out to be a delicious (as banal as that reads) Le Tertre-Roteboeuf with the tannic structure to suggest that it will give pleasure over the next 20-30 years.

De 2014 Le Tertre Roteboeuf, nu in fles, heeft een zeer verfijnde en pure bouquet, met rode kersen, wilde aardbei en een vleugje oranjebloesem, allemaal zeer Bourgondisch van stijl. Het gehemelte is zeer goed gebalanceerd, met frisse tannines, hints van vijgen- en dadel-infusies die het rode bessen fruit aanvullen, en een vleugje witte peper naar de lange afdronk. Dit blijkt een heerlijke (hoe banaal dat ook klinkt) Le Tertre-Roteboeuf te worden met de tanninestructuur die suggereert dat het gedurende de komende 20-30 jaar plezier zal geven.
