Fornitura di vini per yacht in Alicante & Dénia

Alicante and Dénia are the mainland end of the Balearic shuttle. Dénia is the shortest crossing to Ibiza and Formentera on the whole coast, and Marina de Dénia sits under the castle with the ferries running past it; Alicante’s Marina Deportiva is the bigger berth, in a city with an airport that half the charter guests in the western Mediterranean pass through.

That makes this coast a staging post rather than a destination, and staging posts are where provisioning actually gets done. A yacht crossing to the islands for a charter is far better stored here, where a pallet can be delivered to a quay with road access, than in Ibiza in the second week of August. Orders travel on EU logistics, no customs frontier, typically two to three working days from confirmation.

Alicante is also a serious sailing city: the Volvo Ocean Race made its home here for years and the racing infrastructure left behind is unusually good. Regatta provisioning is its own thing, volume, timing and a great deal of it non-alcoholic, and we are happy to quote a campaign rather than a charter when that is what you are running.

The wines here are among Spain’s most improved. Alicante’s old-vine Monastrell has gone from bulk to seriously good in a generation, Fondillón is one of Europe’s historic fortified curiosities, and the Moscatel from the hills behind Dénia is excellent. Inland, Jumilla and Yecla make reds that punch far above their price on a crew list.

"Onshore Cellars helped me on my first new build project putting together wines from around the world. They made the process simple and informative and left me with a happy owner!
We plan to use them in the future as the owner purchased extra wines which are now being stored in Onshore Cellars temperature controlled store."

"Onshore Cellars professional and personalised service is a breath of fresh air in this industry. They continuously go the extra mile to help you out - whether it is with a last minute order and rushed delivery or helping you with food pairing and tasting notes for an important upcoming charter. Onshore Cellars go above and beyond any other wine supplier I have had experience with. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will continue to refer other colleagues in the industry to their services. Thanks Jess and Ed."

"I enjoyed working with Onshore Cellars to restock the wine on our yacht for the year. What I like most about working with them is that the communication is prompt and everything is customised to my needs in an instant. I would recommend Onshore cellars to anyone you cares a lot about professional advice and customer service. Thank you!"

Chief StewardessMotor Yacht IJE

"We've used Onshore Cellars for the past four charter seasons and they've never let us down. Last-minute requests, hard-to-find vintages, middle-of-the-night WhatsApp messages, they handle it all with a smile. The wine knowledge is second to none and our guests consistently comment on how impressive the wine selection is. That's all down to Jess and the team."

Chief Stewardess62m Sailing Yacht

"The WSET course I did with Onshore Cellars completely transformed my wine service on board. I went from guessing to confidently recommending wines to our owner and his guests. The course was tailored to yacht crew which made it so much more relevant than a standard wine course. Now I order all our wine through them too, the tasting notes and pairing suggestions they provide make my job so much easier."

2nd Stewardess45m Motor Yacht

"We switched to Onshore Cellars after years of frustration with our previous wine supplier. The difference is night and day. They actually listen to what our owner likes, remember his preferences, and proactively suggest new wines he might enjoy. The online ordering system with real-time stock is brilliant, no more placing orders only to be told something is out of stock. A truly professional outfit."
