Key characteristics
About this wine
Feudi di San Gregorio Pietracalda is a red wine from Italy's Campania region, crafted from the Greco grape variety under the prestigious Greco di Tufo DOCG appellation. This expression showcases the distinctive character of southern Italian winemaking, where volcanic soils and Mediterranean climate converge to produce wines of remarkable freshness and mineral precision.
The Pietracalda bottling demonstrates the elegant, silky character that defines quality Greco di Tufo red wines. Fresh citrus and herbaceous notes complement a stony minerality that reflects the region's unique terroir. At 13% ABV, this wine strikes a refined balance between complexity and approachability, making it ideal for discerning palates seeking authentic Italian regional character.
Pair this versatile red with Mediterranean cuisine, seafood preparations, light pasta dishes, or fresh cheeses. Its silky texture and herbaceous profile make it equally suited to villa dining, fine dining service, or leisurely estate consumption.
