Tasting notes

The latest release of Drappier's NV Brut Blanc de Blancs exhibits aromas of crisp yellow orchard fruit, oyster shell and white flowers. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, vinous and incisive, with a lovely cut, a youthfully frothy mousse and a chalky grip on the finish. Still a little introverted after its recent disgorgement, this is a fine Blanc de Blancs from Drappier, a Pinot Noir specialist.

About this sparkling wine

Drappier's Blanc de Blancs Brut is a refined expression of pure Chardonnay from Champagne's finest terroir. Produced exclusively from white grapes grown in the chalky soils of the region, this sparkling wine embodies the precision and elegance that define the Blanc de Blancs style. The medium(+) acidity and crisp character provide remarkable freshness, while the full-bodied structure delivers complexity and depth, a testament to Drappier's meticulous winemaking philosophy rooted in respect for the vineyard.

Drappier, a historic Champagne house based in Urville, has long championed sustainable viticulture and traditional méthode champenoise techniques. Their commitment to quality over quantity results in wines of distinctive character and aging potential. At 12% ABV, this Brut strikes an elegant balance, making it as approachable as it is sophisticated.

This Champagne pairs beautifully with oysters, seafood, and lighter appetizers, while its mineral, chalky notes make it an excellent aperitif. An ideal choice for yacht entertaining, fine dining occasions, or any celebration demanding excellence.
