The Vouvray Pétillant Brut displays an intense yellow colour and opens with a deep and rich bouquet of perfectly ripe and juicy yellow fruits intertwined with rich brioche and vanilla as well as chalky aromas. Much fruitier than any Champagne. Full-bodied and rich yet bone dry and fresh, this is nevertheless a pure and refreshing sparkling wine that should be served for lunch or dinner rather than as an aperitif. Tightly structured, long, and energetic.

About this sparkling wine
Domaine Huet is a renowned wine producer located in the Loire Valley of France. The estate has a long and rich history dating back to 1928 when Victor Huet purchased the property. Today, the estate is run by the Huet family and is known for producing some of the finest wines in the region.
The Vouvray appellation is known for its production of Chenin Blanc, and Domaine Huet is no exception. The estate produces a range of wines, including still and sparkling, all made from Chenin Blanc grapes. The Pétillant Brut is a sparkling wine that is made using the traditional method, also known as méthode champenoise. This method involves a secondary fermentation in the bottle, which gives the wine its characteristic bubbles.
The Pétillant Brut is a dry wine with a crisp acidity and a delicate mousse. It has aromas of green apple, lemon, and white flowers, with a hint of minerality. On the palate, the wine is fresh and lively, with flavors of citrus and a touch of honey. The finish is long and refreshing, with a slight bitterness that adds complexity to the wine.
Domaine Huet is known for its commitment to sustainable and organic farming practices. The estate has been certified organic since 1990 and uses biodynamic methods to cultivate the vines. This approach to winemaking allows the grapes to express their terroir and produces wines that are true to their origin.
The Pétillant Brut is a perfect wine to enjoy as an aperitif or with light dishes such as seafood, salads, or goat cheese. It is a versatile wine that can also be paired with spicy foods or Asian cuisine.
Overall, Domaine Huet is a producer that is dedicated to producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Loire Valley. The Pétillant Brut is a shining example of their commitment to excellence and is a wine that is sure to impress.
