Inky purple core and a lighter rim. The nose offers some oak and butterscotch with ripe cassis, plum and dark cherry with tobacco and mild spices. Ample and generous palate, still a youthful texture with a tannic grip, layers of ripe dark fruit, crème de cassis and liquorice. Long and dense finish but still on the youthful side needing some more time to soften.
