The Primitivo di Manduria Riserva Anniversario 62 of San Marzano was born in vineyards located in the municipalities of San Marzano and Sava, in the heart of Puglia. It is produced exclusively with Primitivo grapes, harvested only by hand during the second half of September. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 24°C for approximately 10-15 days. Subsequently, the wine is aged in barrels for 18 months before being bottled. It is characterized by a deep ruby red colour. The nose opens with a broad and elegant bouquet of plum and cherry, enriched by pleasant spicy notes of tobacco. On the palate it is pleasantly soft and rich, with great form. The wine presents decent tannins and a delicately spicy finish.
