2021 - Bodegas El Nido - El Nido

El Nido is the flagship red from Bodegas El Nido, produced in Jumilla, the high-altitude inland appellation of Murcia where old-vine Monastrell thrives in arid, limestone-rich soils. At 16% ABV, it is a wine of serious concentration and weight, the kind of southern Spanish red built for the long haul.

Expect dense dark fruit, tobacco, and earthy spice with firm, grippy tannins and a long, savoury finish. On board, pair it with slow-roasted lamb, beef fillet, or richly sauced game birds. Serve with a generous decant.
