Medium ruby in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Botanica has singular, alluring scents of violets, crushed cranberries and red cherries, blood orange, tobacco and earth, this is incredibly layered, deep and detailed! The medium-bodied palate is packed to the gills with fruits, spices, earth and amaro layers, supported by a fine grain and seamless freshness, finishing long and layered. This is a Pinot Noir full of personality!

Key characteristics
About this wine
Antica Terra's Botanica is a Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley in Oregon, one of the New World's most respected addresses for the variety. It reflects the cool-climate, volcanic and sedimentary terroir of the valley, made with the precision and restraint the region has become known for.
Expect a Pinot Noir built on savoury red fruit, fine tannin and real structural tension rather than overt fruit sweetness. Serve at 15-17°C with roast duck, mushroom dishes or a simple grilled salmon, food that can meet its detail without fighting it.
