Key characteristics
About this wine
Alemany i Corrió is a small, biodynamically minded estate in the Penedès, the broad appellation south-west of Barcelona that stretches from the coast up into cooler inland hills. Cargol Treu Vi is their red wine, produced in limited quantities with the careful, hands-on approach that defines the project.
Penedès reds at this level tend to run structured and savoury, with dark fruit, earthy character and good acidity, wines that sit well at a table rather than demanding attention on their own. Serve alongside lamb, aged cheeses, or the kind of Catalan-inflected cooking that a yacht galley does well.
