Chateau La Fleur Petrus

Château La Fleur-Pétrus is a wine estate located in Pomerol, one of Bordeaux's most prestigious right bank appellations. The property sits on the elevated plateau of Pomerol, where the gravelly soils mixed with clay provide ideal growing conditions for Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The estate produces exclusively red wine under the Pomerol appellation.

Pomerol is renowned for its Merlot-based wines that display remarkable elegance and complexity. The appellation's unique terroir, characterized by iron-rich clay subsoils beneath gravel and sand, creates wines with distinctive mineral character and exceptional aging potential. Unlike other Bordeaux regions, Pomerol has no official classification system, yet its wines consistently rank among the most sought-after in the world due to their limited production and distinctive style.

The estate's current production includes blends incorporating Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.
