Bouchard's village wines express the nature of each place well. None more so than this firmly tannic, well-structured Nuits-Saint-Georges. The tannins are a firm presence, but intense aromas of berry fruit and spices, this wine develops additional roundness after a few years in bottle. Good ageing potential.

The 2015 Nuits Saint-Georges Village, which underwent a slightly shorter extraction than normal, included 30% whole bunch fruit. It has more fruit expression compared to the Savigny-lès-Beaune Village: dark plum, blackcurrant and just a light brush of honey. The palate is medium bodied with supple tannin, nicely judged acidity, a little terseness towards the finish, but this will improve once the final racking has been completed.
