Le Corton-Renardes Grand Cru 2017 s’échappe du verre avec un bouquet complexe de cerises, de framboises, de sous-bois, d’épices chaudes et d’une application habile de chêne neuf de cèdre. En bouche, le vin est mi-corsé à corsé, velouté et étagé, avec un noyau profond et concentré de fruits, encadré par des acides racés et des tanins poudrés. La finale est longue et pénétrante. Exceptionnellement accessible pour une Gaunoux Renardes, elle est néanmoins construite pour une vie longue et enrichissante.

L’un des points forts de cette dégustation a été le Corton-Renardes Grand Cru 2013, un beau vin qui jaillit du verre avec un bouquet étonnamment expressif de baies sauvages, de prunes et d’épices, complété par de savoureuses notes de basse de chocolat noir, de gibier à plumes et de cèpes séchés. En bouche, le vin est mi-corsé à corsé, ample et charnu, avec une concentration formidable, des acides racés et une finale longue et pénétrante. L’association de tanins ultra-raffinés et d’une coupe alléchante donne cette année un style de Corton-Renardes très élégant, qui ravira les puristes bourguignons.
