Pale straw colour. A mellow and gentle play of spices, coconut milk, and sweet vanilla on the nose. Velvety, yet hot on the palate, with flavour hints of toffee, peppery spices, sandalwood, cinnamon, and caramelized apple. Lingering finish and rich with notes of floral oak, vanilla, and tobacco.

Cocktail vedette

The Matsui Mizunara Mule

Recipe 1:
- 60 ml The Matsui Mizunara Cask whisky
- 15 ml fresh lime juice
- 15 ml honey syrup
- 90 ml ginger beer
- 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
Instructions:
1. In a shaker, combine The Matsui Mizunara Cask whisky, fresh lime juice, and honey syrup.
2. Add ice and shake well.
3. Strain into a copper mug filled with ice.
4. Top with ginger beer and stir gently.
5. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary and serve.

Matsui Shuzo's sake is made using traditional methods, including hand-mashing the rice and using wooden barrels for fermentation and aging.
