To earn the distinction “reposado”, tequilas must aged for a minimum of two months, and most reposado tequilas are aged for only that long. Avión Reposado Tequila, however, is aged for six months (three times the requirement), and as a result has a light amber color along with an aroma of fire-roasted agaves and rosemary. On the palate, oak becomes evident along with sweet fruits such as nectarines, cherries and pears, and the finish is marked by citrus, honey and more floral notes.

Recipe:
- 60 ml Avion Reposado tequila
- 30 ml fresh lime juice
- 15 ml agave syrup
- 15 ml mezcal
- Salt for rimming
Instructions:
1. Rim a rocks glass with salt.
2. In a shaker, combine Avion Reposado tequila, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, and mezcal.
3. Add ice and shake well.
4. Strain into the salt-rimmed rocks glass over ice.
5. Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy the smoky and complex flavors of this margarita.
