Tasting notes
A crisp, dry wine, typical of Chablis. It has a pale yellow color with green highlights. The complex, mineral nose reveals aromas of citrus and white flowers, along with vegetal notes such as asparagus and artichoke, and hints of sea air. On the palate, the attack is direct and lively. The finish is long, fruity, and mineral, with a delicate honeyed note as the wine ages.

Key characteristics
About this wine
Joseph Drouhin's Vaudon estate produces this Premier Cru Chablis from the Vaillons vineyard, one of the appellation's respected left-bank sites. Made entirely from Chardonnay grown on Kimmeridgian limestone, it carries the mineral drive and precision typical of Premier Cru Chablis.
Pale gold, with a saline, flinty edge and citrus and green apple fruit over a chalky backbone. Serve well chilled with oysters, langoustine or a simply grilled sole, a natural match for the raw bar and lighter seafood courses on board.
