Tasting notes
The 2017 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Thorey was showing especially well, bursting from the glass with scents of raspberries, plums, dark chocolate, spices and cinnamon, a delicate top note of rose petals emerging as it sits in the glass. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and generous, it's velvety and supple, with lively balancing acids. The Aux Thorey is especially charming this year.
