Tasting notes

The nose is classical, with attractive sous-bois notes running through brambly red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, with crisp, slightly chalky tannins and fine tension from start to finish. The acidity is well judged, and the wine builds in a gentle crescendo towards a tense, persistent finish with a herbaceous tinge. The style is a little underripe, and the wine should age well.

About this wine

Domaine Robert Chevillon is a prestigious Burgundy producer renowned for crafting elegant, terroir-driven Pinot Noirs from Nuits-Saint-Georges. This Premier Cru wine from Les Pruliers vineyard exemplifies the region's hallmark style: a full-bodied red with firm tannins and bright red and black fruit character. The domain's meticulous winemaking philosophy prioritizes expression of the vineyard's unique limestone-rich soils, resulting in wines of finesse and aging potential.

Les Pruliers is one of Nuits-Saint-Georges' most celebrated Premier Cru sites, known for producing wines with structure, complexity, and beautiful balance. At 13.5% ABV, this Pinot Noir delivers the characteristic light intensity and mineral precision typical of Burgundy's finest offerings. The wine's firm tannin structure makes it an excellent choice for pairing with beef, venison, game birds, and duck, ideal for elegant entertaining at fine dining establishments, private villas, and chalets.
