Tasting notes
The 2019 Côte Rôtie La Landonne displays its typical dark, meaty, espresso-like aromas, complemented by hints of raspberry and black cherry. It is full-bodied and concentrated yet supple and relatively approachable, with soft, velvety tannins and a long, mouthwatering finish. While it is delicious now, it would not be surprising if the wine closes up for several years before reaching its peak maturity. Therefore, it is advisable to enjoy it now or hold onto it for another 5+ years.
