Ingredients:
- 50 ml Darroze - Les Grands Assemblage - 8 yrs Armagnac
- 20 ml Cognac (VS)
- 15 ml Amontillado sherry
- 10 ml honey syrup (1:1 ratio)
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 dash orange bitters
- Ice for stirring
1. Add the Armagnac, Cognac, Amontillado sherry, honey syrup, and both bitters to a mixing glass filled with ice.
2. Stir continuously for 30 seconds until well-chilled and properly diluted.
3. Strain into the prepared glass using a fine mesh strainer.
4. Express the oils from an orange peel over the surface by twisting it above the drink.
Serve in a crystal coupe glass. Garnish with a large orange twist (approximately 3cm x 1cm) placed on the rim. Present with one large, hand-cut ice cube placed in the glass before pouring for visual sophistication.
