Damoiseau XO old amber rum comes from the fermentation and distillation in a Creole column of pure sugar cane juice, harvested in Grande-Terre, then aged for at least 6 years in oak barrels, in the tropics.
A warm copper, gold colour, with a nose of caramel, bagasse, vanilla, and cocoa, soft palate, delicately complex flavours of vanilla accompanies the first notes of candied fruit (mango, banana), finishing on a slight note of fresh pepper, nutmeg and caramel.
