Enquire about availabilityOne-third of the crop for this wine was lost to frost. A blend of 53% Sauvignon Blanc, 46% Sémillon and 1% Muscadelle, the 2017 Aile d'Argent has lovely white peaches, lemon curd and beeswax notes with hints of orange peel, grapefruit and a touch of sage. The palate is light to medium-bodied and bursting with exuberant stone fruit and citrus flavours, with a racy line and a long, peachy finish.
Château Mouton Rothschild's Aile d'Argent Blanc represents a rare departure from the estate's legendary red wines, showcasing the producer's mastery across the full spectrum of Bordeaux winemaking. Crafted from Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, this white wine captures the essence of Pauillac's distinctive terroir, delivering a racy, stony character with vibrant citrus fruit notes. The medium-bodied structure and balanced acidity reflect the cool-climate influence that defines the region's finest white expressions.
This elegant white pairs beautifully with fresh seafood, oysters, and light fish preparations, ideal for sophisticated entertaining aboard yachts or in fine dining settings. The medium alcohol content ensures a refreshing, food-friendly profile that complements both casual aperitifs and refined gastronomic occasions. A distinctive choice for collectors seeking authentic Pauillac whites from one of Bordeaux's most prestigious estates.
