Bellavista - 'Alma' Grande Cuvee Non Dosato - Franciacorta DOCG

Tasting notes

The Franciacorta Alma Grande Cuvée Dosaggio Zero by Bellavista darting into the glass of a bright straw yellow color, with a dense and lively perlage. The nose is a riot of white flowers, hawthorn and angel flower in the first place, citrus notes of Sorrento lemon, fragrant references to pastry. The sip is refreshing, fresh, with a certain flavour and fragrant, with bubbles that still invite you to drink.

More about the Producer

    Onshore Cellars - ICONIC Producer

Bellavista is recognised for making some of the best sparkling wines in Italy and this success partly comes from the direction of their Head Winemaker, Mattia Vezzolla. He was honoured as “Oenologist of the year” by the Italian guide “Gambero Rosso-Slow Food” in 2007 for his key contribution in developing the Franciacorta DOCG.

The winery was established in 1977 in Franciacorta (which literally means ‘short France’) by Vittorio Moretti, who also owns Contadi Castaldi in the same region, and Petra and Tenuta La Badiola in Maremma. Today, Bellavista owns 195 hectares of land covering almost 10% of Franciacorta producing around 1,150,000 bottles a year.
