Vibrant ruby with violet hues, this Rioja Garnacha opens with expressive aromas of ripe red cherries, wild strawberries, and dried herbs, underpinned by subtle notes of garrigue, white pepper, and a hint of warm spice. On the palate, it is juicy and medium-bodied with soft, rounded tannins, bright acidity, and flavors of raspberry compote, pomegranate, and dried rose petals. The finish is elegant, fresh, and pleasantly persistent.

About this wine
Baigorri's Garnacha is a Rioja red from La Rioja, built around the Garnacha grape rather than the region's more familiar Tempranillo backbone, giving it a different, riper register within the appellation.
Expect warm, red-fruited character with soft tannins and enough grip to handle the grill. Serve at 15-17°C alongside beef, lamb or grilled meats and poultry - a reliable choice for barbecue nights and casual on-deck dining where a generous, food-friendly red is called for.
