Flor de Cana
Flor de Cana is a renowned producer of premium rum from Nicaragua. Founded in 1890, this family-owned distillery has a rich history and a commitment to quality that has made it one of the most well-respected rum producers in the world.
Located in the fertile volcanic soils of northwest Nicaragua, Flor de Cana's distillery is situated at the foot of the San Cristobal volcano, which provides a unique microclimate for the aging of their rums. The company takes great pride in using only locally sourced ingredients, including the sugarcane used to make their rum, which is grown in the rich volcanic soil of the region.
Flor de Cana is not only known for its high-quality rums, but also for its sustainability efforts. The company has implemented eco-friendly practices throughout its production process, including using renewable energy sources and recycling all waste materials. In fact, Flor de Cana is the first and only distillery in the world to be both carbon-neutral and Fair Trade certified.
The rums produced by Flor de Cana are aged using the traditional Solera method, which involves blending rums of different ages to create a consistently smooth and complex flavor profile. The rums are aged in white oak barrels, which previously held bourbon and whiskey, giving them a unique and rich flavor.
Flor de Cana offers a range of rums, from their flagship 7-year-old expression to their ultra-premium 25-year-old rum. Each rum is crafted with precision and care, resulting in a smooth and balanced flavor that has earned the brand numerous awards and accolades.
In addition to its high-quality rums, Flor de Cana is also known for its commitment to giving back to the community. The company has established a foundation that focuses on providing education, healthcare, and environmental conservation programs for the local community.
Overall, Flor de Cana is a brand that not only produces exceptional rums but also has a strong commitment to sustainability and giving back

Flor de Caña is a Nicaraguan rum producer based at the San Antonio sugar mill in Chichigalpa, operated by the Pellas family. While the brand is best known internationally for its aged rums, which are produced using volcanic water from the Maribios mountain range and aged in American white oak barrels, the distillery also produces a range of rum-based liqueurs under the same name.
The Coco Liqueur falls within this extension of the core range, combining rum with coconut flavoring to produce a sweeter, lower-alcohol spirit suited to cocktails and mixed drinks. Coconut liqueurs of this style are typically consumed over ice, blended into tropical cocktails, or used as a modifier in longer drinks, and the rum base gives them more depth than those built on a neutral spirit foundation.
