Principe Corsini

The Corsini family has owned Villa Le Corti since 1363, when they bought the oil mill and several hectares of land in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, on the hills south of Florence. The seven-century-long history of the estate, with the vintage of 1993 sees the birth of the Principe Corsini wine brand by the will of Duccio Corsini, the current owner.

Today the estate extends for 230 hectares. Of these: almost 50 are destined for the cultivation of vineyards while the other 63 are cultivated with olive trees. The remaining land was left wooded to protect the territory and biodiversity. At Villa Le Corti are farmed three varieties of Chianti Classico vineyards, including the undisputed protagonist: Sangiovese.
