Tasting notes
The name La Rivetta has become a symbol of an excellent terroir. La Rivetta 120 stands for a special synergy of soil, microclimate, and tradition, enhanced by 120 days of maturation on the lees. This is reflected in a brilliant yellow colour with a slight greenish tinge and a fine, delicate perlage. The aroma is reminiscent of Granny Smith apples, wisteria, and acacia blossom. The flavour is fresh and fragrant, with a yellow-fruity aroma. The result of extended ageing is a complex, creamy sparkling wine.

About this sparkling wine
Villa Sandi's La Rivetta 120 represents the pinnacle of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG production. Crafted from the Glera grape variety, this extra-brut sparkling wine embodies the fresh, elegant character that has made the Valdobbiadene region renowned among discerning wine enthusiasts. The wine's light-bodied structure and delicate intensity showcase green fruit and blossom notes with an earthy undertone, delivering the refreshing quality that defines superior Prosecco.
Produced in Italy's prestigious Prosecco region, Villa Sandi maintains a winemaking philosophy focused on expressing the unique terroir of Valdobbiadene's rolling hills. The extra-brut style, with its restrained dosage, allows the pure character of the Glera grape to shine, making this sparkling wine exceptionally versatile at the table. At 11.5% ABV, it remains elegantly light and approachable.
La Rivetta 120 pairs beautifully with shellfish, crab, lobster, and sushi, while also complementing poultry dishes, hard cheeses like Parmesan and Comté, and citrus-based cuisine. Its bright acidity and fresh profile make it an ideal aperitif or companion to tapas and small plates, while fruit-based desserts provide a delightful pairing option. Perfect for sophisticated entertaining across villas, yachts, and fine dining venues.
