Direct to the yacht
To the dock, the marina or your agent
Onshore Cellars was founded by former yacht crew, so we know what a delivery to a yacht has to get right. We deliver directly to your yacht at the dock or marina, or through your yacht agent.
Our cellar is in Vallauris, just outside Antibes, minutes from the ports of Cannes, Antibes and Monaco, which is what makes same-day delivery on the Côte d’Azur possible. Beyond it we ship to ports worldwide with specialist freight partners experienced in yacht provisioning.

How it works
From order to berth
Four steps, whichever port you are in.
Place your order
Shop online, download our wine list PDF, build a charter list in our wine builder, or email or phone us. Send a charter brief and we will build a tailored proposal.
We curate and quote
Our team, WSET-qualified wine professionals and former yacht crew, matches the selection to your itinerary, guests, chef’s menu and budget, and builds you the quote.
We deliver to the yacht
On the Riviera and in Monaco our own van brings it to the dock or marina. Further afield it travels with specialist freight partners experienced in yacht provisioning, or to your agent.
Reorder and keep track
Returning clients reorder from previous purchases in our customer portal, track deliveries and download invoices.
Arriving in good condition
Packed for the journey
Accurate orders and proper packaging. Beyond the Riviera the wine travels by temperature-controlled freight, with full chain-of-custody from our temperature-controlled warehouse.
Top up mid-charter
Running short between ports? Order more and we deliver it to your next port of call. Same-day delivery on the Côte d’Azur keeps a charter turnaround simple.
Urgent or out of hours
We keep extensive stock in our South of France warehouse and can often arrange emergency deliveries outside normal hours. Just call us.

Tax-free and duty-free supply
What you pay on a delivery to a yacht
The tax position of a delivery is decided by where the goods physically go and what authorisations the receiver holds, not by the flag of the vessel.
A delivery outside the EU is an export, with no French VAT and no duty. Tax-free ship’s stores are open to qualifying commercial yachts on charter, but the conditions are strict and they are checked. Every other delivery inside the EU is charged the VAT of the delivery country, which we declare and pay.

Yacht wine delivery FAQs
Do you deliver to the yacht itself or to the yacht agent?
Either. We deliver directly to your yacht at the dock or marina, or through your yacht agent. Tell us which when you order, along with the port and the date you need the wine aboard.
Can I order more wine while the charter is under way?
Yes. Top up mid-charter with additional wines delivered to your next port of call. On the Côte d’Azur we can deliver the same day. For something urgent, or outside normal hours, call us on +33 4 65 84 99 51: we often can arrange an emergency delivery.
Can you deliver to my yacht during a yacht show?
Yes. We run daily deliveries to the berth or the stand, chilled and timed around show hours, security and access rules. Show weeks are our busiest, and reserved stock is honoured first, so get your order in two to three weeks ahead. More on our yacht show wine supply page.
Who pays the VAT and duty on a yacht delivery?
It depends on where the wine goes, not on the flag of the yacht. Inside the EU the default is the VAT of the delivery country, which we declare and pay. A delivery outside the EU is an export, with no French VAT and no duty; anything the destination charges on arrival, such as local VAT, import duty or agency fees, is between the vessel and its agent there.
Tax-free ship’s stores are the one route with no VAT and no duty inside the EU, for qualifying commercial yachts, under strict conditions. See tax-free wine supply for yachts for the full picture.
What paperwork comes with a delivery?
You can download invoices from our customer portal, where returning clients also track deliveries and reorder. For a delivery outside the EU we provide the commercial invoice, packing list and export paperwork.
