The Talisker Tempest

Zutaten

• 60ml Talisker 10 Years Old
• 20ml Islay Dry Vermouth
• 15ml Peated Honey Syrup
• 20ml Fresh Lemon Juice
• 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
• pinch Sea Salt

Zubereitung

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice
2. Add Talisker 10 Years Old, Islay Dry Vermouth, peated honey syrup, and fresh lemon juice
3. Add 2 dashes of aromatic bitters
4. Stir vigorously for 12-15 seconds until well-chilled
5. Strain into a chilled coupe glass using a fine strainer
6. Top with a pinch of sea salt crystals across the surface

Serve in a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a single large smoked sea salt crystal placed on the rim and a 5cm strip of lemon peel expressed over the surface and laid across the drink. Present with the salt crystals visible on the cocktail's surface for visual impact.
